How you’ll contribute:

• Act as a servant leader in the organization to facilitate Release events and processes. Supports teams in delivering value, aka new Releases.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders (Business, Project Managers and Management)
• Escalate impediments.
• Help manage risk.
• Following the Release Management Cycle and ensure everything is in place at each step of the Release (scope properly defined, delivery date set and communicated, quality checks in place, infrastructure requirements, internal and external communication)

Delight our customers by:

• Working with Release Manager and Business/Product Teams to define Product Release Roadmaps (release cadence, format…)
• Ensuring proper communication to customers (Release notes, Release agenda)
• Understanding fully the Financial Messaging Strategy

Work together by:

• Creating and communicating the annual calendars for Product Increments (PIs)
• Facilitating preparation & execution of PI plannings. Summarize the PI objectives and publish them to provide visibility and transparency.
• Assisting with periodic synchronization meetings (SoS meetings, Stakeholders synchronization)
• Teaching and supporting development teams, leaders and Scrum masters about Agile management practices and ideologies.
• Listen to and support teams in problem identification and decision-making.
• Working closely with the Release Manager and with other teams within Financial Messaging

Innovating by:

• Proposing and implementing improvements
• Sharing (business/technical) ideas with the team and the management

Constantly improving by:

• Planning and facilitating Release Retrospective to improve how value is delivered.
• Proposing new processes and working closely with the Release Manager to formulate, enable and promote them.
• Monitoring and reporting on the success of the Releases.
• Providing feedback on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks.
• Promote DevOps and continuous delivery.
• Helping others and asking for help when needed

What will make you successful:

• 3+ years’ experience in software development – Either in Development, Quality Engineering, Scrum mastering or Release Engineering.
• IT Master’s Degree or equivalent
• High understanding of all phases of SDLC, experience in working with Agile methodology
• Be aware of Non-Functional Requirements
• Heightened sense of client service
• Excellent oral, and written communication skills (English mandatory – French optional)

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Financial Messaging domain 
• Knowledge of SaaS development would be a plus (to better understand the context and potential issues)
