Regional Director EMEA (North)
Key responsibilities
- Guide and lead new business sales team in strategic sales methods for securing new revenue across the UK & Northern Europe.
- Proactively engage end-user customers and vendors to increase collaboration, customer penetration and expansion.
- Coordinate with function groups to develop solutions in meeting customer business demand.
- Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of competitors’ products, services, costs, and sales/marketing strategies to remain prepared in a position to successfully counteract competitor’s attempts to erode our customer base.
- Partner with Sales Development Representative (chartered with driving lead/opportunity generation), Client Services (engaged for customer deployment), TeleSign partners and partner team and HQ Sales Operations team.
- Provide forecast and pipeline management using CRM tools.
- Close net new business/ Use Cases with strategic clients, including some of the largest web properties in the world.
- Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly report out of forecast, pipeline overview and crisp, concise view of help needed supported by data and business impact.
Essential Requirements
- University Degree, with MBA a plus.
- Direct and indirect (partner) sales experience required.
- 7+ years in a sales management position.
- 7-10 years of documented success exceeding Enterprise sales targets in a similar business.
- Experience driving a complex sales process, project, and resource management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in English is a must.
- Knowledge of SaaS solutions and mobility.
- Security, fraud prevention, token authentication and telephony knowledge are a plus.
- Knowledge of and relationships with customers in Financial Services, FinTech, social networking, cloud services, online payment companies, online gaming, eCommerce, fraud prevention, online advertising, web portals and education a plus.
- Hands on approach; is prepared to roll up the sleeves and does his/her own selling and account management when needed.
