The Role:

DailyPay’s public policy team develops policies and advocates for legislation that empowers our users, protects consumers, and supports the health of our business. Through our advocacy at the state and federal level, we are ensuring earned wage access (EWA) products are licensed as a new financial product and not through legacy regulatory frameworks. DailyPay’s public policy division combines policy development, direct engagement with policymakers, advocacy campaigns, research and analysis, and programs to promote financial wellness.

Each month, DailyPay’s innovative fintech platform provides on-demand payroll services to over 1 million workers who are employed by our client partners. We are growing and our public policy efforts are expanding. For this reason, DailyPay’s public policy team seeks a Coordinator to join us at this exciting and busy time.

This role is based in our New York, NY international headquarters. This is not a remote position.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Working collaboratively with a wide range of cross-functional DailyPay team leads from legal, operations, finance, and other departments, to ensure the public policy team’s timely compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Managing deadlines for lobbying law compliance
  • Helping to coordinate other processes for the public policy team like scheduling and travel that support the execution of public policy priorities
  • Project managing deliverables to help facilitate state and federal priorities
  • Tracking progress, managing milestones, and ensuring timely communication of public policy updates for DailyPay’s board and executive leadership team

  • Strong project and meeting management experience
  • Demonstrated interest in politics, regulatory issues, and current affairs

Pay Transparency.  DailyPay takes a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary depending on your location. United States locations are categorized into three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The salary ranges are listed by geographic tier. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation and stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
