The Product Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring smooth operational tempo with respect to daily data needs. This person is responsible for maintaining an accurate system and timely data collection to position the Product Operations department to process bills each month. This person is very detail oriented and passionate about delivering results on time.

We are remote-friendly but also have a great office environment in downtown San Diego and a hub in Salt Lake City.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute standard operating procedures to ensure consistent data flows of Ivy's service delivery inputs.
  • Source data from various systems, both internal and external.
  • Coordinate with external support teams to remove blockers preventing the necessary data transfers.
  • Validate data changes within Ivy's Trellis platform.
  • Analyze and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational challenges and bottlenecks.
  • Provide timely and effective support to resolve user queries, issues, and escalations.

Requirements

  • 2 years of data processing experience.
  • Data cleaning experience required (advanced Excel, basic Python scripting, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Very detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have

  • Prior work experience at a rapidly growing software company.
  • Familiar with Hex/Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Experience with data quality control and auditing.
  • Experience with process mapping and automation.
  • Excited about data!
  • Familiarity with the solar or distributed energy industry.

Compensation

Salary $65,000 - $80,000

Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs.
