Who’ll You Be Joining:  

The Business Systems team’s vision is to enable process improvement through efficient and scalable solutions as we partner with our key stakeholders. This role will work hybrid from our Downtown Toronto office.

We’re a team of 8+ people who sustain the foundational business systems that support the day-to-day operations (ERP-Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Integrations) of our stakeholders which includes Operations, Finance, Customer Services, Marketing, Business Intelligence, and others.

How You'll Make an Impact: 

As a NetSuite Administrator, you’ll provide strategic and tactical enhancements/solutions that will further the vision of the Business Systems team and directly impact ecobee’s day-to-day operations and success. Your functional knowledge in O2C, P2P and R2R and understanding on reporting/analytical needs will drive architectural solutions within NetSuite; while your understanding on out-of—box NetSuite system limitations will support custom solutions when required.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

  • You have several years of experience working with NetSuite as an Administrator
  • Perform day-to-day operations, maintenance, projects, change requests, and support tasks for NetSuite application and the ecosystems (CRM, eCommerce, internal systems, P2P)
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Contribute to identification and implementation of scalable solutions, including risks assessments and mapping the processes associated with our solutions
  • You have audit experience in ensuring ERP impacting practices are Sarbanes-Oxley compliant (SOX)
  • NetSuite Administrator Certification would be considered an asset
  • Assess and identify areas of process and system improvement
  • Experience working with Integration and NetSuite developers to support architecture design for solutions that will help further integrate ecobee’s business processes
  • You will be a key advisor to others on the team, and ecobee stakeholders by improving their understanding on our applications and help others learn about NetSuite and its best practices
  • Develop, document, and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity, change management procedures, rationalized customization, etc.
  • Basic understanding of US GAAP/IFRS would be considered an asset
  • Work closely with ACS NetSuite team as required on new enhancements and to troubleshoot newly developed NetSuite functionalities
  • Stay current on best practices and exploration of new technologies towards future planning and potential implementations
  • Just so you know: The hired candidate will be required to complete a background check

Interview Process:

    • A 30-minute phone/video call with a member in Talent Acquisition.
    • A first round virtual interview with a cross-functional member of ecopeeps – expect technical, behavioural, and situational questions. 
    • A take home business case. We tend to give anywhere between 2-4 days to submit the take home.
    • The interview itself! A 1hour virtual interview is the next and last step. The first 40 will be a technical discussion followed by a half hour with management.
