What You'll Do
The NAM - France & Germany is responsible for realizing the significant growth opportunity that exists in these Countries. The role requires all strategies and decisions to be in alignment with Corporate Goals (Munchkin Compass) and collaborates with key retail partners to align to 3-year plans. This role manages direct and buyer relationships with key customers, maximizes territory sales volume, and secures new product placement. In addition, the role works to develop new customers and new channels within the territory to support aggressive growth plans.

  • Establishes strategic plans at Retail Channel, Product Category level to achieve corporate growth objectives for products and services.
  • Commercial responsibility to ensure all decisions are in service of Munchkin's Compass Goal for gross margin.
  • Establish annual key account specific goals with the EMEA General Manager.
  • Activities include customer meetings, sales planning, presentation development, analysis and development of business proposals.
  • Market expertise - Supply timely market/customer feedback verbally and through prompt written reporting. Effectively communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales/marketing results. Analyze and develop strategic account action plans based on customer Point of Sale data, competitive information, market share data and retail/category productivity.
  • To ensure that All Brand building material is "On Brand" and that approval process is adhered - including POS, PR and SM material.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other business functions (including Marketing, Demand Planning, Sales Admin Support, Operations, Customer Service and Finance) for complete account management.
  • Participate in industry tradeshows, sales meetings, and other company events as needed.
  • Forecasting - Maintain knowledge of product availability and account status. Utilize internal forecasting tools to provide accurate ongoing volume forecasts for territory.
  • Works with Marketing to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of organization.
  • Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


Bring It!

  • Minimum 10 years successful selling experience in France & Germany with an FMCG company and ability to demonstrate strong business development
  • Demonstrate ability to deliver compelling sales presentations/promotions
  • Language - fluent in French & English written and verbal. German is a BIG plus
  • Effective listening skills
  • A strong verbal and written communication skill in both French and English is mandatory. Other languages beneficial
  • High energy, detail focused, action oriented contributor. Must be self motivated and detail oriented to direct own work
  • Capable of preparing accurate analyses, sales reports. Strong critical thinking skills
  • Strong computer skills required with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Team player able to establish effective working relationships with European head office
  • University degree required
  • Up to 40% plus travel - includes overnight stays and some weekends as needed

What’s the vibe like in the office?

I have been happily employed at Munchkin since June 2022. During your first few weeks, they schedule one on one Meet and Greets and allow you to contribute in ‘Snack baby’ which has you walk around the Company with a Vintage baby carriage filled with delicious snacks and is a great way to get to know your fellow Munchkineers!
