The Role

We are currently seeking a VP/Managing Director to bring OneMain's brand to life for our prospects, customers, team members and stakeholders. This role will lead internal and external activation of our evolving brand to build customer consideration and brand affinity, engage team members, support our mission and serve a growing set of products. As a key strategic partner and brand steward, they will collaborate across the entire organization to ensure the OneMain brand is integrated into everything we do; connecting with prospects, creating a cohesive experience for our customers and inspiring our team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead re-brand efforts across the organization to embed new brand tone, messages, and visual guidelines into multi-unit ecosystem; partner with project management, marketing and creative to develop a roadmap, align timing and resources required to rebrand all customer-facing materials
  • Further develop strategy for future brand architecture to serve a growing set of products, features, and partnerships; lead brand development for new products that require sub-branding
  • Create tools, training, campaigns, and content to engage team members and guide their embodiment of the brand and understanding of customers; partner with training and field/operations stakeholders to build guidance for tone/personality activation with customer-facing team members
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive awareness and build reputation by bringing the brand to life for prospects, customers, regulators, and the industry; lead brand strategy and creative development for upper funnel media when needed (TV, radio, outdoor)
  • Advance OneMain's mission to improve the financial well-being of hardworking Americans by creating and executing brand activation programs across social, CSR and PR
  • Develop brand immersion and enablement tools, training and assets for agency partners and internal brand, marketing, content creators
  • Manage merchandising for over 1,400 branches including outdoor/indoor signage, collateral, giveaways, and branded paraphernalia for team members
  • Serve as brand steward by overseeing brand approvals on usage of language and visuals and partnering with marketing, operations, legal and compliances to establish and enact brand policy across the organization
  • Monitor brand performance and impact on KPIs in partnership with insights, strategy, analytics, and marketing stakeholders



Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience working in marketing, brand and/or at agencies (media, experiential, brand consulting)
  • Experience building, managing, and executing a new (or re-vamping existing) corporate brand
  • Experience managing internal and external creative teams and agencies
  • Ability to take groundbreaking ideas and operationalizing them by catalyzing action and aligning the appropriate resources / partners
  • Proficient in process and project management: planning, prioritizing, building structure and executing a strategic vision on deadline and with attention to detail
  • Understanding of how strategies and plans are guided by audience insights and behaviors
  • Experience prioritizing and ensuring key initiatives move forward, while influencing cross-functionally across all levels of management
  • Effective communicator who is comfortable presenting to a variety of audiences and stakeholders at various levels
