Job Description

Mission:

As a pivotal member of the revenue team, the Manager of Revenue accounting will work closely with the practice leads to identify areas where we can automate and refine our processes to give management better, timely, and more accurate information. As the business grows we need to scale our process keep up with the expanded scope. This hire will help give the project managers more control and accountability in our project set-up and monitor projects to ensure accuracy and completeness. We need someone who is comfortable interacting with all levels of the business to ensure that project budgets are accurate and supportable.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Implement a per project budget process.
  • Work to integrate our OpenAir project setup with NetSuite, and automate the flow of project data to NetSuite for revenue recognition
  • Generate reporting, routine and ad hoc. Utilization reports, realization reports. 
  • Design and recommend reporting out of Open Air/ NetSuite
  • Alert management of any issues with resources/project budgets in a timely manner.
  • Audit preparation and support
  • Develop working relationships with employees as part of being in a shared service organization
  • Implement and monitor controls around the revenue and deferred/ unbilled balances

Qualifications

  • CPA preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience in OpenAir project setup
  • Minimum 2 years experience of recent experience using NetSuite, including creation of Sales Orders, Reporting, and Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and administrative skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as a team member, in a dynamic, fast-paced, and deadline-oriented environment
  • Advanced Excel Skills Strong Knowledge of ASC 606
