OTAVA® is seeking a passionate Lead and Demand Generation Specialist who will work closely with Sales and Marketing to create engaging multi-channel programs that generate leads. As a key member of the marketing department, you will be responsible for generating high-quality leads and driving demand for OTAVA's products and services. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of lead generation techniques, marketing automation tools, and the ability to analyse data to optimise campaigns catalog.

This position serves as the liaison with our vendors to obtain Marketing Development Funds (MDF) to support lead gen activities.

This position supports OTAVA's sales efforts by assisting in the development of marketing campaigns; conceptualizing and writing of lead gen content; analyzing the effectiveness of marketing activities; preparing reports; and helping maintain our lead database.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the execution of acquisition tactics for new customers and growth of existing customers
  • Execute our demand and lead generation efforts, including producing new and nurtured lead generation goals and forecasts, and measuring overall results against plans
  • Align closely with Sales and Channel to execute effective campaigns that generate quality end-user, partner, and account-based leads
  • Nurture key aspects of the marketing funnel to ensure proper conversions of MQLs and SQLs that ultimately result in new revenue
  • Develop, execute and manage all demand and lead generating campaign strategies that leverage the full scope of marketing programs, including online, trade show and events, email nurturing programs, advertising, in conjunction with cross-functional teams
  • Plan and execute paid search and paid social marketing campaigns, including suggesting creative concepts, working with outsourced vendors to set up a production schedule, and tracking success of paid campaigns
  • Leverage vendor relationships and Marketing Development Funds (MDF) to maximize lead generation tactics
  • Manage lead flow from capture through to closed/won, using HubSpot and Salesforce.com as the current tech stack. This includes landing page strategy, qualification, nurture, scoring, and handoff to the sales team
  • Identify new opportunities to implement and run campaigns
  • Analyze campaign performance, report, recommend and iterate on campaigns to drive increased ROI and ensure proper attribution
  • Launch advertising on paid media outlets
  • Design and implement methodical tests that will provide the team with learnings around different creatives, targeting, tactics, and channels
  • Ensure we are hitting our acquisition and growth numbers month over month
  • Assist with content creation for website, email, social media, paid, and other mediums
  • Other activities as needed under the direction of the Sr. Director of Marketing to support overall marketing operations

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • A blend of analytical and creative thinking, and ability to communicate around both. Experience working with both technical and creative teams.
  • Top, middle, and bottom of funnel engagement techniques. You know how to nurture and convert leads.
  • Can design, launch, and manage email campaigns from the first draft of copy all the way to reporting and optimization.
  • Detail-oriented & organized. You are incredibly organized and have developed systems to keep your projects on track. You're ruthless about double-checking your work, hitting your deadlines, and keeping things running on time.
  • Highly collaborative. You view marketing and sales as the same team and crave feedback from your sales colleagues so you can better understand their world. You use their input from the front lines as fuel to create your next great campaign.
  • Self-starter with strong project management, prioritization skills, and hands-on execution ability.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to iterate and improve and make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and keep stakeholders informed of progress and blockers.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, often under tight deadlines.
  • Experience and knowledgeable with marketing automation tools and CRM systems (Salesforce, SalesLoft, HubSpot etc.
  • Working with Atlassian Products ( Jira, Confluence, Ops-Genie), MS 365 Products

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a business/marketing/design-related field

Experience

  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, and marketing budgets
  • Extensive experience building an attribution model and user acquisition tactics
  • Experience and highly knowledgeable with marketing automation tools and CRM systems (Salesforce, SalesLoft, HubSpot, etc.)
  • 2-5 years of digital marketing experience in the cloud or tech industry
  • Proven track record for contributing to growth
