Job Description

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is seeking a dynamic IT Technical Analyst to implement and support all aspects of theplant and elevator hardware, software, and system integration points. This collaborative position will support business leaders with application functionality, including master data modifications, reports generation, and process configuration. A talented individual is needed to analyze business functions, define computer requirements, and design systems to improve currentprocessesor enhance existing computer systems. Additionally, this position will provide technical support for interface connectivity, including serial, PLC, and ethernet as well as work directly with vendors and provide accountability on behalf of AGP for various projects and emergency break-fix tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with testing software upgrades and patches
• Provide daily support for plant and elevator Agris software systems, including but not limited to, OneWeigh, binSight, and Bulkweigh.
• Test operating software releases and patches against software for potential issues and discuss with IT leadership results
• Support and provide break-fix analysis on hardware including, but not limited to, PCs, printers, scale indicators, Bulkweigh units, message boards, RF badge readers, and phone or intercom devices
• Provide break-fix remote support for all plant and elevator facilities operating 24/7
• Maintain and provide input into documentation, including site-specific configuration information, break-fix processes, software installation steps, and procedures for various tasks.
• Follow the defined technology strategy roadmap and execution through collaboration with IT leadership
• Optional travel to plant locations to provide onsite support of hardware and processes
• Communicate with infrastructure teams for network connectivity and equipment installations.
• Proven ability to work independently

Requirements

• Associate degree in information technology (MIS, CS) or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience using MS Office software
• 3+ years of experience in computer software support
• Grain industry experience preferred
• Experience with Agris software including OneWeigh, binSight, and Bulkweigh
• Agricultural production/manufacturing industry along with general business accounting practices knowledge strongly preferred
• Knowledge of communication devices (serial, ethernet, PLC) preferred
• Able to handle frequent exposure to elements and conditions of soy processing plant (dust, noise, etc.)
• Report on-site daily (Monday-Friday) at 7:30 AM with earlier start during harvest time (fall)
