Our founders Maarten and Dimitri started Loop back with a big idea. And a chronic ringing in their ears. Since then, we’ve helped more than 3,500,000 customers around the world to find quiet, enjoy great experiences and keep unwanted noise at bay.
In 2023 we grew from almost 100 Loopers to over 250 people. And that’s a number we would have to keep updating every month, as we are planning to double the team once again, this year.
Our headquarters are based in Antwerp, but with hubs in Amsterdam, Shanghai, and New York, we’re dotted all over the globe.
Not to brag about it, but we’ve recently won the EY Scale up of the year award, the Deloitte Fast50 award (for the second year in a row) and a couple of other amazing (international) prices. The New York Times named us ‘best earplugs for concerts’ and thousands of noise-sensitive customers call us a ‘life changer’.

About the role:
Join Loop as an IT Specialist and play a pivotal role in shaping our future through state-of-the-art cloud-based infrastructure and providing a great IT experience for all Loopers in Amsterdam. 🌟 This isn't just about keeping the lights on; it's about pioneering a tech landscape where every Looper has the tools and support they need to excel. 🚀 You'll be the go-to expert, bridging the gap between cutting-edge IT solutions and everyday user needs across our global offices.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee and enhance our cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Provide top-tier user support, solving technical issues to maintain a seamless technology experience for everyone.
- Lead the charge on IT security, from promoting best practices to implementing data protection strategies.
- Collaborate with teams company-wide to tailor IT solutions that meet our ambitious objectives.
- Run workshops to boost IT literacy, ensuring all Loopers can confidently navigate our technology landscape.
- Update and refine IT policies and procedures, keeping them aligned with Loop’s strategic goals while prioritizing accessibility.
- Keep a pulse on emerging technologies, bringing innovative tools and practices into our IT ecosystem.
How you'll do it:
- Your background includes a comprehensive IT experience, especially in deploying and managing cloud solutions and enhancing IT security.
- Proficient in the Microsoft ecosystem and Apple's IT tools, you're ready to tackle any technical challenge.
- With a focus on security, you’re dedicated to protecting data and ensuring the integrity of our systems.
- Problem-solving is second nature to you, always looking for creative solutions to IT hurdles.
- Your exceptional communication skills, underpinned by a user-first mentality, ensure technology solutions provide an excellent experience for all Loopers, emphasizing service and support as much as innovation.
