Summary:

The IT Finance Manager position is responsible for providing operational finance support to the forecasting, capital and operating budgets, and related financial analysis involving the IT and Monitoring groups at ADT.

We are seeking a forward-thinking individual to take the lead modeling scenarios and cost and benefit analysis for ADT's IT and Monitoring roadmap and strategies. This role involves close collaboration with senior IT and Monitoring leaders to understand their strategic vision, portfolio plans, and expenditure details, as well as involvement in vendor Request for Proposals (RFPs) and internal approvals. The ideal candidate will contribute strategic insights, refine models, and communicate recommendations succinctly to ELT leaders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and perform analyses and research associated with ADT Inc.'s capital budget and operating budgets for the IT and Monitoring groups.
  • Develop, prepare, and analyze financial reports based on actual, forecast, and budget data for the IT and Monitoring groups.
  • Financial Scenario Modeling: Spearhead the development of financial models to guide ADT's IT and Monitoring roadmap and strategies, aiming to increase revenue and reduce costs.
  • Collaboration with Senior IT and Monitoring Leaders: Work closely with senior IT leaders to align financial modeling efforts with their strategic objectives, portfolio plans, and budgetary considerations.
  • Vendor RFP Participation: Participate in vendor Request for Proposals (RFPs), providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
  • Review month end journal entries associated with prepaids and accrued liabilities associated with the IT, Monitoring, and Telecommunications teams.
  • Perform SOX and Internal Audit validation requirements on multiple processes and internal control procedures.
  • Coordinate and work effectively with all stakeholders in IT, Monitoring, Telecom, FP&A, Accounting, and Internal Audit.
  • Facilitate the Finance department's review and approval of contracts and invoices.
  • Address ad-hoc requests for information and analysis from management.
  • Coordinate and work effectively with other cross-functional teams in FP&A on budget and actual.
  • Perform certain G/L account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Assist and load annual budget files for IT, Product, and Telecom.
  • Perform detailed analysis at the cost center level and investigate any issues/outliers.

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. MBA preferred.
  • 5 years of experience with FP&A, Finance or Accounting, IT and Product management experience highly preferred.

Knowledge / Skills / Characteristics:

  • Resourcefulness and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to build rapport, cultivate working relationships, and drive collaboration across business teams.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to work well under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of fundamental business and accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach to business problems and process improvements.
  • Background in financial analysis and planning.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
  • Experience with Hyperion products (Essbase/HFM).

Pay and Benefits Disclosure:

The salary range for this role is $83,726-$167,452 and is based on experience and qualifications. Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance. We offer employees access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and paid time off among others. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.
