Description

As an Insurance Product Strategy Specialist, you will leverage Granular's precision risk solution to provide self-funded employers with more predictable benefit plan protection. You are a builder, able to plan strategically for the benefit of the business and you thrive in a fast paced environment. 

Responsibilities
  • Support strategic initiatives cross-functionally throughout Granular.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and best practices related to stop loss insurance products and product features.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's insurance products and their operational requirements.
  • Maintain excellent documentation of changes and decisions related to models and forecasting tools.
  • Document processes and procedures and create guides and materials to drive operational excellence. Develop and maintain project plans and track progress against key milestones.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • 1-3 years relevant work experience (experience in health insurance with specific experience in strategy, finance, business analysis, data analysis, etc. preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts for varying levels of audiences.
  • Excellent project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with other team members as needed.
  • A strong desire to work in a fast-paced, evolving, startup environment.
  • MBA (preferred).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 - $90,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
