About kea

Launched in 2018, kea is changing the way restaurants operate. We've built a voice product that takes calls on behalf of the restaurant, helping customers place their orders without having to speak to someone in the store. This allows the restaurant to stop context-switching and focus on what they do best: making great food. We've raised $29m to date from top-tier investors and we're building an amazing team to drive the world's restaurant commerce. We've experienced significant revenue growth, and plan to continue that trend by providing even more value for our customers through our technology. There are tens of thousands of restaurants out there that need kea, and we're building for them.

An Insider's view of kea

What does your typical day look like?

My typical day at kea involves a daily stand-up meeting, ad-hoc problem-solving discussions, heads-down coding, and chats about food, travel, technology, and Valheim.

What's something quirky about your company?

An early stage start-up is one of the most amazing things that can happen to you professionally!

Yes, it will be exhausting at times, and all those sprints will feel like marathons. Yes, you will have to roll-up sleeves and work hard and wear so many hats you never even thought you could wear before! Yes, you will push yourself to the edge of you
