Responsibilities

The EWP Marketing Coordinator Develop, implement, and execute marketing activities for Boise Cascade's EWP brand. This includes development and design of department marketing information (advertisements, trade association communications, trade show activities), leadership and coordination for Wood Products Division branding efforts, and management and coordination of the marketing infrastructure which includes database systems, intranet and external website.

  • Support the division's identified marketing initiatives including: written and graphic web content, and SEO position using available analytics, social and web tools.
  • Attend marketing trade shows, customer outings, and sponsored events providing an excellent customer experience on budget within time constraints.
  • Collaborate with Boise Cascade's sales team and customers to develop promotional materials needed for local activities.
  • Perform market research and analyze data from multiple sources (economic, sales, brand research, etc.) into actionable items.
  • Brainstorm, write, rewrite, edit and proofread marketing materials from technical notes to magazine advertising.
  • Participate in the development and selection of graphics and photography for marketing materials with appropriate message and standards.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Some travel isrequired.

Basic Qualifications:

Level II: College degree, or equivalent work experience in related job function. Typically has five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in related job function;

Senior Level: College degree, or equivalent work experience in related job function. Typically has ten (10) years of experience in related job function and may require an advance degree.

Successful candidate will have strong organizational and planning skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and effective interpersonal skills with all levels of management/personnel within Boise Cascade, external customers and vendors and industry associations. Must have high self-motivation, a strong customer service orientation and the ability to work independently while interacting with many customers is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advance degree is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Wood Products is a plus.
