Communications Specialist
We are looking for a digitally-savvy Communications Coordinator to join Wisk’s Marketing Department. This is a unique opportunity to work across functions on the Marketing & Communications team. In this role you will spend 75% of your time managing Wisk’s digital channels (Social Media, Internal/External Newsletter, Website/Blog, and Intranet), helping Wisk tell our story both internally and externally. The other 25% of your time will be spent gaining exposure to and supporting broader Marketing initiatives across the team.

This role is based in our Mountain View HQ and requires hybrid attendance (2-3x days on site minimum).
What you will do:
- Manage Wisk’s digital channels both internally and externally, including Social Media, Website/Blog, Internal and External Newsletters, and Intranet
- Execute all social media posting, metrics reporting, and proactively stay up-to-date on the latest trends, best practices, and opportunities for Wisk to tell our story digitally
- Create and maintain content calendars incorporating marketing campaigns, company news, technical milestones, employee recognition, employer brand content and beyond
- Support the Communications Team on company-wide internal communication initiatives including All Hands Meetings, Lunch & Learns, New Hire Onboarding, Internship Program and ad hoc announcements
- Opportunity to work on and support special projects across Events, Corporate Communications, Product Marketing, and more.
The successful candidate has:
- 2-3+ years of professional work experience in Marketing, Social Media, Communications
- Experience with Hubspot, Mailchimp or similar newsletter platform
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Strong time management skills
- Managed company/brand social media accounts previously or studied digital communications/marketing
- A roll-up-your sleeves attitude and desire to learn
- Interest in understanding how an in-house marketing team works to support an innovative engineering organization, open to working on various projects across the team for future growth
