Our Opportunity:

Chewy is currently hiring for a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Administrator at our Louisville Pharmacy Fulfillment Center. You will have the opportunity to apply your unique experience to support the fast-paced operations of our dynamic fulfillment center environment. Additionally, you will develop new and valuable skills and experience in growing world of e-commerce fulfillment operations. This position is responsible for all procurement, receiving, stocking, and kitting of facilities parts for work order execution. An individual in this position will be expected to support the Facilities Manager with inventory management of critical spare parts and reporting. This role may perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and/or as necessary.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for the overall asset management, work planning, and spare part inventory. 
  • Assists in the training and onboarding of all facility team members including adding/removing users, user groups, transferring of assets, and building preventative maintenance (PM) work schedules.
  • Develops Fix discipline by using standard work document to guide daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
  • Prepares PM work schedules weekly by ensuring assets and schedule maintenance is documented in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) guidelines, is consistent with management expectations, and uses facts/data to prepare for weekly meeting PM meeting with the leadership team.
  • Measures and assists in the publishing of KPI metrics daily and weekly by improving processes, by helping interpret facts and data, and by making sound recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Executes, reviews, and completes daily follow-up regarding offline assets, assets with failed tasks, and facilitates site visits for contractor and vendor site visits for PM and corrective repairs.
  • Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups such as customers, suppliers, team members, members of local and regional management both verbally and/or in writing, and with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Provides support to maintenance operations by generating and maintaining forms, reports, and logs via computerized maintenance management software; performing weekly inventory; tracking financial transactions; and overseeing and communicating equipment warranties to suppliers.
  • Completes Class A/Critical Spare Cycle Count weekly and all other Classes on a recurring/monthly basis.
  • Partners with Facility Manager/Area Managers and assists in the closing/reconciling of work orders daily to ensure a Reliability Centered Maintenance Approach and other best practices are carried out based on leadership strategies.
  • Creates part kits for planned work orders to maximize the time technicians spend maintaining equipment.
  • Ensures inventory records are accurate so that the maintenance team has necessary critical spare parts to rectify any unplanned downtime events.

What you’ll need:

  • Uses standard work document (“SWD”) daily to order, receive, and track parts. Uses SWD to inform decision-making, guide day-to-day priorities, and to ensure parts are ordered, received, kitted, and work is scheduled.
  • Maintains organized files and databases and identifies and resolves discrepancies in records or files by using best practices approach in concert with additional guidance/direction from management team. Advises management regarding incorrect or inefficient processes, inventory variances, and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) deficiencies for appropriate follow-up and improvements.
