Job Description:
Description: The Brand Specialist will be responsible for creating internal and external department communications, including written stories, brochures, newsletters, emails, online content, announcements, and events. This person will also be responsible for ensuring that information created by the department represents the standards and values of the Network and is appropriately branded and tailored to all diverse audiences of patients, team members, and community members.
Typical Duties:
- Maintains a unified brand voice across various channels.
- Develops and maintains website design including all social media channels.
- Executes a results-driven social media strategy.
- Develops and curates engaging content for online platforms.
- Coordinates information gathering and writing for publications, such as newsletters, emails, online content, announcements, and events.
- Works with Network team members to coordinate internal and external communications projects and promotional campaigns, etc.
- Writes, edits, and creates internal and external communications in various media on all platforms.
- Assists in promoting the department in the community.
- Collaborates with departmental communicators, employee engagement teams, and other operational teams to produce engaging and informative content.
- Contributes to and enhances the professionalism of internal and external communications.
- Collaborates with network partners to create a social media calendar.
- Interacts with users and responds to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
- Reviews analytics and create reports on key metrics.
- Works with Communications and Compliance to ensure HIPPA and department policies are met.
- Perform other related job duties as assigned.
- Assists with special events; represents at off-site speaking engagements and assists with tours of the foundation and hospital.
- Responsible for successful online fundraising platforms and meets Foundation fundraising goals.
For Foundation:
Qualifications:
- Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Communications, Public Relations, or Communications from an accredited university.
- Three (3) plus years of experience in creating content for publication, from concept through delivery.
- Experience managing vendors.
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
