Reporting to the US Benefits Director, this position will be responsible for execution and oversight of tasks associated with the company's 401k, pension, and benefit plans.

What You'll Do:

  • Act as a primary contact for escalated employee questions related to all US Benefit plans, including pension, 401k, and health and welfare plans.
  • Review 401k funding prepared by the Benefit Analyst on a bi-weekly basis. Oversee resolution of any issues with the payroll team and ensure funding is submitted timely as defined by company practice and IRS regulations.
  • Apply retirement plan policies and procedures on an on-going basis, including researching and resolving specific issues whenever possible and escalating as appropriate to secure decisions as needed.
  • Support and Supervise Benefit Team in response to inquiries sent to Benefits email inbox.
  • Support Benefit Director with coordination and completion of quarterly Investment Committee meetings for AB's retirement plans.
  • Serve as main representative from People Team on annual retirement plan audits with external auditors, providing requested documents and resolving identified issues.
  • Prepare annual 401k employer match calculation for review by the US Benefit Director.
  • Provide information to vendors for company's annual discrimination testing of 401k and health and welfare plans. Ensure results are obtained timely and corrections, if needed, are completed.
  • Review and maintain ongoing employee communications and plan documents for accuracy and compliance with provided guidelines.
  • Coordinate annual disclosures and notices with 401k and Pension vendors. Submit final versions to Benefits Director for approval.
  • Provider oversight of pension administration vendor and review monthly benefit reconciliation.
  • Provider oversight of ACA reporting and assist Benefit Team with resolution by working with our People Digital Team.
  • Provide oversight of FSA and HSA funding and assist the Benefit Team with resolution by working with our People Digital and Payroll Teams.

What We're Looking For:

  • An analytical, problem solver nature, with excellent excel skills
  • Possess a bachelor's degree in related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Employee Retirement Plan and Health and Welfare Administration
  • A strong customer service focus in working with employees and colleagues
  • Experience in administration of retirement plans, health and welfare plans
  • Must understand retirement plan eligibility and match requirements.
  • Strong communication skills including a demonstrated ability to clearly communicate benefits to employees and project a positive and professional demeanor in all transactions.
  • Detail-oriented with the desire to research and resolve issues for internal clients.

Position is in Nashville and will follow a Hybrid Schedule
