As an Atlassian Administrator, you'll be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and administration of Atlassian tools, ensuring optimal functionality and alignment with the organization's processes. You'll collaborate with teams to streamline workflows, provide technical support, and drive best practices in utilizing Atlassian products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Atlassian Tool Administration: Manage and configure Atlassian tools, including but not limited to Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other related products. Customize settings, workflows, schemes, and integrations to meet business needs.
  • User Management: Administer user access, permissions, and groups within Atlassian tools. Provide training and support to users, ensuring effective utilization of the platforms.
  • Integration and Customization: Integrate Atlassian tools with other systems and applications to facilitate seamless data flow and collaboration. Develop and implement custom solutions and plugins as needed.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Address and resolve technical issues, provide support, and troubleshoot problems related to Atlassian tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find effective solutions.
  • System Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and installations of patches or updates to ensure stability, security, and optimal performance of Atlassian applications.
  • Documentation and Best Practices: Create and maintain documentation related to Atlassian tool configurations, processes, and best practices. Establish guidelines and standards for Atlassian tool usage across the organization.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor system performance, analyze usage patterns, and generate reports or dashboards to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • This Position is located in Pune India
  • Proficiency in administering Atlassian tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc., including configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and project management practices.
  • Experience in system administration, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades of Atlassian applications.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) for automation and customization is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Capacity to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. 
  • Certification in Atlassian Administration (such as Atlassian Certified Professional) is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Atlassian tool administration or a similar role.
