The Position 

Arevon is recruiting for the position of Development Analyst, an outstanding opportunity for individuals seeking an exciting, high-growth work environment in one of the most important industries of the 21st century. The Development Analyst is an integral role and entry point to a career in Project Development and Project Management. Job Description 

The Development Analyst will work directly for Development Managers and is directly responsible for assisting with and/or handling development and project management-related activities on multiple utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. Such activities include tracking project budgets and schedules, supporting permitting and interconnection processes, progressing project tasks, and compiling investor reports. You will assist in leading community and client relationships throughout the development process and will work closely with our internal teams at every stage of development to help successfully get Arevon’s projects to the finish line. 

Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to prepare and maintain project budgets 
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to prepare and maintain project schedules, track milestones, and communicate deadlines 
  • Research and support completion of discretionary and ministerial permits for the development and construction of renewable energy projects 
  • Manage and organize all aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and change orders 
  • Assist Project Managers with the creation and preparation of internal and external project reporting and presentations 
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to contract services, set up vendors, and ensure proper invoicing 
  • Review contracts and track and ensure compliance with contract terms 
  • Utilize GIS, Google Earth, and other software to perform project due diligence, support preliminary layouts and provide external deliverables 

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of applicable experience (exceptional entry-level candidates will be considered)
  • Track record of working well within a team environment and demonstrating an ownership mentality
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to solve problems and think critically about complex problems
  • Self-directed and organized with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Project, etc.) and familiarity with GIS and/or Google Earth
  • Comfortable speaking in public
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time or as required to support project activities 

Education

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in engineering, mathematics, business, or a similar discipline
