Over the past 50 years, the introduction of new imaging technologies has ushered in the era of personalized medicine. Although CT & MRI were first introduced in the 1970s, it is only in 2019 that we are able to unlock the full potential of data stored inside each scan. Through its immersive VR platform, ImmersiveTouch is empowering clinicians with greater precision and consistency of care by accessing new insights from patient scans. The company’s proprietary platform improves upon existing advanced visualization techniques by integrating artificial intelligence, computer vision, surgical simulation, and virtual reality. ImmersiveTouch designed its technology to simulate each patient’s unique pathology in 3D so that no information from the 2D scan data is lost in translation. ImmersiveView™ VR converts CT, CBCT, 3D angiography and MRI scans into a 'digital twin' of the patient and provides a completely unique and unobstructed view of the case. No longer limited to certain angles of view, doctors can easily view the target anatomy, clearly and accurately. ImmersiveView Surgical Plan® is a platform that generates high-fidelity 3D VR replicas from patient DICOM scan data and provides a variety of tools for use directly on the model in VR. ImmersiveTouch3™ is our augmented reality platform. With the use of specialized glasses, the user is placed into an interactive 3D environment. Sensors on the glasses keep the 3D anatomy in perspective with the user’s head motions. ImmersiveSim™ VR provides users with a fully immersive experience. Users put on a VR headset and are transported right into an operating room. While in the simulation, use of our haptic controllers replicates the sensation of using various surgical tools, and use of VR hand controllers replicate the user’s hand motions 1:1.
