Position Title : Senior Software Developer

Position Location : Government site in Annapolis Junction, MD

Description :

• Primary responsibility will be to support an existing development team building performance-monitoring solutions for the Government enterprise systems. The candidate will integrate open source and COTS products in a secure environment with PKI-based authentication, corporate authorization services, firewalls, and SSL/TLS communications.

• Position leverages the Jenkins automated execution architecture for automated performance checks.

• Leveraging Ansible automation for building production environment

• Instrument different environments in order to capture performance metrics and will build software leveraging REST APIs to automate the capture of metrics.

• Utilize Elastic stack to store performance metrics and develop visualizations of the performance metrics.

Qualifications :

• TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

• A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering. Sixteen (16) years of experience in software development/engineering may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

• Experience with Python, R, Java, JavaScript, or Perl programming

• Familiarity with web application technologies (e.g., html, JavaScript, web servers, and application servers)

Desired Experience :

• Experience with AWS Cloud

• Experience with Ansible or Terraform

• Experience with Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana)

• Experience with Jenkins

• Experience with Selenium

• Experience with Cisco AppDynamics

• Experience with Micro Focus Business Service Management (BSM) tool suite:

• Micro Focus SiteScope

• Micro Focus Operations Bridge/Operations Manager I (OMi)
