You will play an integral role by administering the DigitalOcean Jira and Confluence Cloud environment. You will be troubleshooting operational issues, providing technical solutions to operational problems, contributing to upgrades and implementation of new functionality, and providing the overall upkeep and maintenance of Jira and Confluence instances. You will also be working with internal business partners to define requirements for advanced customizations, automation, and integrations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Identify gaps, and provide suggestions for improvements to existing workflows and instance configurations to streamline use and increase performance.
  • Assist with completing Jira configurations for design, development, and implementation activities, in adherence with the Atlassian’s recommendations.
  • Able to create Jira reports, dashboards and planning views using JQL based on different user requirements and provide stakeholders with actionable project metrics and status reports.
  • Drive strategic roadmap for better tool utilization through training, coaching, and optimization - enabling stakeholders to work with even greater productivity.
  • Conduct training on Jira and Confluence to reinforce best practices 
  • Develop knowledge base articles and training materials

What We’ll Expect From You:

  • 4-8 years of minimum Jira & Confluence development, in either On-Premise or Cloud environments
  • Knowledge of Scrum, Agile, SAFe, and continuous integration, and continuous deployment practices
  • Knowledge of the Atlassian product suite at admin and super-user level
  • Knowledge of system access and permissions configurations to ensure compliance and enforce best practices
  • Understanding of Jira Service Management as both a service desk agent and project administrator
  • Interested in transforming business processes into Jira configurations
  • A pleasant demeanor and the ability to communicate in user-friendly language
  • A strong customer-first mindset
  • Willingness to learn and continuously improve your skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and managing your time carefully

  • We reward our employees. The base salary range for this position is between $88,000.00 - $115,000.00 based on relevant years of experience and skills. The salary range for this role is specific to candidates located within the U.S. and will vary for candidates outside the U.S.. Employees may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees including grants of equity upon hire and the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
