A Senior Data Quality Engineer will focus on the G&A function and create reliable data models for supporting business and financial planning, reporting, and analysis. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and repeatability of our core metrics through robust data modeling and testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and data quality assurance. They also will have a strong understanding of data structures and metrics.

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Kraków, Poland. Candidates must be based in Krakow or the area of Krakow, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data models to support business and financial reporting and analysis
• Design and implement testing frameworks to validate data models and data integrity, ensuring they meet all functional and business requirements
• Monitor and analyze data quality, identifying discrepancies and inconsistencies in business data and proactively resolve issues in the upstream systems
• Implement best practices for data handling, cleansing, and processing to ensure integrity and accuracy
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and refine data models to improve analysis and reporting capabilities
• Proactively solve problems and suggest process improvements
• Generate routine and ad hoc reports to track the health of financial data
• Stay updated with industry standards and technological advancements relevant to data quality and financial data management

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Quality and/or Analytics capacity. High-growth or tech environment is a plus
• 4+ years of SQL development experience, familiarity with at least one scripting language (Python preferred)
• 2+ years working with financial data, strong understanding of financial metrics and reporting requirements
• Experience with modern data stack tools, including dbt labs (data modeling), Snowflake (Data Warehouse), ThoughtSpot (BI)
• Knowledge of the Salesforce data model is a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong ability to build collaborative, productive relationships with colleagues/teams across Clari
• A self-starter who is motivated & enjoys working in a fast-paced, ever-changing workplace
