This position is a full-time, in-person position reporting to the Chief Marketing and Operations Officer. As a Marketing Coordinator the primarily focus will be that of translating marketing collateral from English to Spanish, and vice versa. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for compiling and organizing all marketing materials to be submitted to the compliance team for approval. This role requires excellent language skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Translation:
- Accurately translate marketing materials, including but not limited to brochures, websites, social media content, emails, presentations, and advertisements, from English to Spanish and Spanish to English.
- Ensure that translated content maintains the intended meaning, tone, and style of the original materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand key messages and adapt them appropriately for the target audience.
Collateral Management:
- Gather and organize all marketing collateral materials, including graphics, text, and multimedia assets, ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all channels.
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns by coordinating the production and distribution of collateral materials.
- Proofread and edit marketing materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Maintain a library of approved and up-to-date marketing collateral for easy access by the marketing team.
Compliance Submission:
- Collaborate with the compliance team to understand regulatory requirements and ensure all marketing materials meet the necessary guidelines.
- Prepare and submit marketing collateral to the compliance team for review and approval.
- Address any compliance-related feedback or queries promptly and make necessary revisions to marketing materials as required.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance submissions and approval statuses.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives, target audiences, and messaging strategies.
- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and other team members to ensure the seamless integration of translated content into marketing collateral.
- Assist with other marketing projects and initiatives as needed.
Skill and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency and accuracy while translating and adapting content.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Translation, preferred but not required, related field or equivalent work experience,
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Demonstrated experience in translation and localization, preferably in a marketing or creative context.
- Familiarity with fintech industry terminology and concepts is a plus.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements related to marketing materials in the financial industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in using translation tools and software is desirable.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Salary:
- 45K and is negotiable depending on experience.
