Equifax is seeking a Technical Architect professional to significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions focused on our customers' business needs. As a Technical Architect at Equifax, you will design and plan technology solutions, alongside providing leadership and support to development teams. In this role, as a Chief Architect Customer Experience & Digital Enablement, you will be responsible for driving an end to end integrated and seamless Customer Experience across Awareness, Consideration, Acquisition, Fulfillment and Revenue Recognition phases of the Product Life Cycle. You will define and drive responsible business process automation to streamline and improve Equifax Customer Experience.

  • You will be designing and developing strategies to ensure the Equifax Product Teams are empowered to get things done efficiently, securely and effectively. You will also be driving and leading continuous improvement by enabling AI Powered automation and Process Orchestration to augment human workflows. You will be identifying the business process obstacles/friction-points with your partnership with stakeholders across the departments.
  • You will also be predicting the application availability using predictive analytics by continuously analyzing the data/metrics, and by assessing various process change requests to the Business Units. You will be ensuring that processes are testable, validating expectations and ensuring that they are achieved during testing processes, and monitoring ongoing tests.
  • As the senior resource on a project, you lead the team to ensure sufficient data/information is gathered, communicated and oversee the delivery of a solution architecture, information architecture, and detailed technical solution design. In addition, you will work closely with your team and project management to ensure quality implementation of the design.

What you will do

  • Architect, design, and engineer complex software products.
  • Research and incubate new technologies and frameworks to be used within projects.
  • Ensure that team is aligned with the strategic objectives, requirements and platform enterprise architecture.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members, peers and product engineers/architects on various related topics across other teams.
  • Identify architecture solutions to meet functional and non-functional needs of the project.
  • Experience in creating conceptual and logical models.
  • Be an active member of the architecture community and evangelize cutting edge technology and architectures (e.g. streaming).

What experience you need

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics) or equivalent job experience required
  • 5+ years of experience developing and/or administering software in the public cloud, including 10+ years overall relevant experience.
  • Experience in monitoring infrastructure and application uptime and availability ensure functional and performance objectives.
  • Experience in languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, Java, Go, Perl, JavaScript and/or node.js
  • Demonstrable cross-functional knowledge with systems, storage, networking, security and databases
  • Experience with multiple OSS frameworks and microservice implementation styles.
  • Experience with message driven application development (pub-sub, Kafka) and event driven microservice implementation
  • Proficiency with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling and practices

What could set you apart

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred
  • You have a full working knowledge of technologies such as UNIX, Oracle, SQL Server and TCP/IP for example, as well as knowledge of one or more programming languages
  • You have the ability to build good relationships with customers and coworkers
  • You can gather and assimilate information
  • You have good knowledge of quality standards, legislation and best practice
  • You can adapt and prioritize
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions

To adhere to our corporate location policies, this resource will be required to be local to the surrounding Atlanta areas (or willing to relocate for this position) and adhere to our Return To Office (RTO) / weekly onsite requirements (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). This is an Alpharetta based position.
