As a Senior Software Engineer at Cisco, you will be a key member of the UCS Chassis Management Controller team, developing and supporting embedded chassis management software for Cisco's UCS products. This challenging role requires strong C programming skills and experience in embedded Linux environments. You will work on system-level and low-level device programming, with a focus on Chassis Management Controller development.
Handle all Supply Chain deliverables for silicon photonics based optical module programs, ensure readiness, cost management, and BOM resiliency from pre-concept to production. Engage supply chain partners, drive cost reductions, and manage supplier quality. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet schedule, cost, and ramp requirements.
Collaborate with UI, backend, and firmware engineers to build new test frameworks and tests for Meraki Dashboard features. Solve meaningful problems and contribute to the success of the team's mission. Develop and promote good testing practices, mentor junior engineers, and act as a Networking domain guide.
