Job Description

Enterprise IT (EIT) is an essential component of the current IT division that provides support to the Pharmaceutical Research, Supply Chain, Marketing organizations as well as Enabling Functions. The EIT SAP Platform Team is responsible for our company's SAP Global Template asset, delivering enterprise-level capabilities through harmonized business processes and data. The team is responsible for the operation of all SAP and integrated solutions, governance of the associated enterprise assets, and cost-effective delivery of capabilities to support achievement of immediate and future state business objectives.

You will work on the latest, robust, updated SAP Architecture on Cloud and roadmap towards S/4. Responsibilities:
The ERP team is responsible for supporting and implementing SAP solutions in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment. This role will be a part of the SAP technology team (TCN) and is expected to contribute to the global SAP implementation/support team. Additionally, the role will involve managing day-to-day operations support for existing systems.
Primary job responsibilities include:

  • SAP Project Planning and Delivery Management skills.
  • SAP Maintenance Windows planning and Coordination.
  • Experience in SAP products - ECC, BW, SCM, GRC, SRM, eSourcing, Mobility, GTS, SOLMAN, Portal, Fiori, Business Objects (BOBJ), ARIBA, S/4 HANA, and SAP HANA.
  • Provide installation, configuration, integration, upgrade and testing services for new projects and on-going maintenance for SAP environments.
  • Analyse, diagnose and resolve computing problems involving system hardware, third party software and operating system software.
  • Provide performance tuning, problem analysis, upgrades and system administration for Oracle databases and SAP instances, NetWeaver 2004s and ECC 6.0, BI, PI, SRM, Portal, SAP Hana etc.
  • Knowledge in performing client copies, system refreshes, and SAP troubleshooting.
  • Experienced in SAP Correction and Transport System and SAP Security management.
  • Knowledge of single sign-on (SSO) solutions to portal and backend R/3 and BI systems.
  • Evaluation and design of interfaces between SAP R/3 and external systems.
  • Review and implement the recommendations of SAP EarlyWatch Reports.
  • Strong knowledge in SAP Supported Cloud Platforms, mainly AWS.
  • Ability to follow up, follow through, and deliver quality and timely results.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and apply them to evolving business needs.
  • The role may occasionally require slight overlaps with the US (EST) and EMEA (CET) time zones, but primary availability is in the regular APAC Singapore time zone.


Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinating Offshore resources and activities.
  • Development and support planning.
  • Go-Live cutover activities.
  • Post Go-live stabilization and support activities.
  • Troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Provides guidance on technology and project approach in line with best practices and corporate strategies and standards.
  • Interact with development teams, configuration teams, various technical support teams, and business stakeholders to optimize and maintain the overall SAP reliability, availability, and performance.


We are seeking an energetic, forward-thinking professionals with the following qualifications:

  • At least 15 years of relevant work experience on SAP product portfolio.
  • Successful candidate will cover all aspects of SAP Basis administration including system installations, upgrades, problem analysis and resolution, client copies, system refreshes, SAP instance configuration and performance tuning for a complex system landscape.
  • It is requested a deep understanding of SAP platform, its underlying database, operating system, and hardware platform.
  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree.

  • Project and Delivery Management skills.
  • Experience of large-scale IT solutions, governance and release management matured in complex organizations.
  • Excellent analysis, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in achieving shared objectives within a matrix organization, participating in cross-divisional projects, and building effective cross-functional teams and relationships.
  • Able to work independently, should be a self-starter.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. $135,500.00 - $213,400.00
