ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Director, Business Strategy & Analysis, you will use your keen understanding of data analytics and business acumen to identify strategic opportunities, set goals, and align with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product) to create a cohesive growth plan that aligns with the company's overall goals. You will drive, enable and influence executives to take action on strategic initiatives.
The role reports to the CEO with strong collaboration across the leadership team members.
What you will be doing:
Strategic Business Analysis:
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to conduct in-depth market analysis to recommend strategic business decisions and actions.
- Utilize financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis to evaluate business performance and support strategic initiatives.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on rigorous analysis and interpretation of data.
- The linchpin between data and decision-making, you will be instrumental in elevating Sortly’s performance, taking charge of core KPI tracking across the company.
GTM Partner
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify key opportunities for market penetration and expansion.
- Develop and execute comprehensive GTM strategies to drive adoption and revenue growth across target markets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams to align GTM strategies with business objectives and ensure effective execution.
Pricing and Packaging:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in pricing strategy development, including competitive analysis, value-based pricing models, and pricing optimization techniques.
- Partner and collaborate across teams to design innovative packaging solutions tailored to different customer segments and market dynamics.
- Continuously monitor pricing performance and market feedback to make data-driven adjustments and optimizations.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Background in Management Consulting or Investment Banking is a plus.
- A track record of unearthing trends and opportunities to drive growth. Your analytical skills are matched by your ability to translate complex data and long-term trends into clear narratives, with actionable insights at the forefront of your recommendations.
- Proven experience in business strategy, pricing, GTM planning, and partnership development within the technology industry (especially B2B SaaS)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, market analysis, and business performance evaluation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and insights effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving results through innovative and data-driven approaches.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
