The Sales Manager leads the hotel's sales and marketing functions, reports to the General Manager, and works toward revenue and sales goals. Responsibilities include prospecting, cold calling, soliciting new accounts, arranging appointments, attending sales blitzes, conducting hotel tours, networking in the community, developing revenue opportunities, monitoring costs, and managing, training, and motivating a diverse team. The role includes occasional evening and weekend work and Manager-On-Duty coverage.
