Plan, fund, and manage local developmental disabilities services; develop budgets and community plans; supervise staff; manage contracts, billing, data, and program evaluation; perform outreach to expand employment and services, especially for diverse communities; interpret public policy and represent the program to stakeholders and elected officials.

Lead complex parks, trails, and open space planning projects across the county, prepare master plans and technical reports, manage public outreach and grants, coordinate stakeholders, and supervise or mentor junior staff to implement park and trail development and resource management objectives.
