The Underground Control Systems Engineer coordinates mining operations and systems, manages schedules, improves reporting, ensures safety, and communicates with stakeholders.

Plan, design, and optimize open-pit drill and blast programs; generate drill patterns, blast timing, sequences and schedules; analyze compliance and pit sequencing; prepare short-range and monthly plans; coordinate with geology, engineering and operations to meet short- and long-range production goals.

Develop and execute short-range open pit mine plans to meet production targets. Coordinate with operations, geology, and drill & blast, produce bench/dig/dump designs, monitor plan compliance, reconcile end-of-month production, and drive continuous improvement through data and field engagement.

Lead design and execution of underground mine infrastructure projects including ventilation, dewatering/pumping, electrical substations, construction engineering, scheduling, and drawings. Model systems (Ventsim, Pumpsim), prepare AFEs, and support life-of-mine infrastructure planning to enable continuous underground operations.
