The Data Scientist in Finance will analyze financial data, create dashboards, collaborate on data engineering, and find improvements for the business.

Embed with agency teams to turn underused data (call transcripts, CRM activity, financials) into structured, actionable insights. Build repeatable pipelines and analytics products, push trusted metrics into the semantic layer, partner with Analytics Engineering and Data Science, and track insight-to-action outcomes tied to client accounts.

As a Business Analysis Manager, you will lead strategy development, manage analysts, execute business intent, and foster improvements across multiple teams.

Manage analytical service operations by overseeing a team, designing software for data mining, developing statistical models, and generating insights for marketing outcomes. Provide training and mentorship to direct reports.

Gather and document business and functional requirements, analyze processes, recommend improvements, produce BRDs/FRDs/user stories and process maps, support solution design, UAT, testing and deployment, produce reports/dashboards, monitor project progress, and support change management and stakeholder communication.

Build and maintain a database-first GIS system supporting analysis of more than 150 NEXRAD radar sites. Integrate terrain, obstruction, spectrum, imagery, parcel, and field-survey data; produce spatial analysis layers, dashboards, maps, and reports; apply geospatial standards; maintain site records; and ensure compliance with Controlled Unclassified Information requirements. The role is fully remote with minimal occasional travel and supports a federal program contingent on contract award.

Reviews and analyzes large business datasets for accuracy, completeness, relevance, privacy, and quality. Conducts document reviews involving PII, identifies data issues and anomalies, provides feedback to support AI training, refines quality assurance standards, and communicates findings to project stakeholders while maintaining data privacy and security compliance.

Reviews, develops, validates, and refines dashboards, reports, visualizations, calculations, data sources, KPIs, and analytical workflows across BI platforms. The role documents findings, provides structured feedback, troubleshoots reporting accuracy, and evaluates AI-powered agents and workplace connectors used in analytics processes.

Conduct quantitative and qualitative research, analyze complex business scenarios, gather requirements, and synthesize stakeholder perspectives into actionable recommendations. Evaluate data using tools such as Excel or SQL, identify process improvements, and produce clear reports, memos, business cases, and documentation. Collaborate with stakeholders through written communication and contribute analytical content to help train AI systems.

Analyze large, multi-source datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers. Build Power BI dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards, and analytics-ready datasets using SQL. Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to clarify questions, evaluate initiatives, maintain data quality, and develop actionable recommendations. Present insights through clear visualizations and data storytelling, while managing multiple analytics assignments and contributing to team best practices.

Supports the Transformation Office through enterprise KPI reporting, performance analysis, executive dashboards, governance materials, and strategic insights. The role identifies risks and opportunities, validates initiative updates, tracks decisions and action items, and prepares executive, board, and investor-ready reporting. It partners with Finance and senior leaders to connect transformation progress with business outcomes and uses Power BI to develop dashboards.

Supports commercial loan system administration, department reporting, and analysis of deposit and lending activities. Works with large datasets across multiple systems to synthesize actionable insights, collaborates with credit union departments, and performs related administrative and analytical tasks under supervision. The internship is fully remote with optional office work and is limited to 29 hours per week.
