Your Impact

A position is available for a highly motivated postbaccalaureate technician to engage in research and development on our in vitro translation team at NTx. This position will provide support to all team members project-wide, collaborating closely to drive research forward. The successful candidate will perform a large variety of biochemical and molecular biological techniques. A strong drive to learn new techniques and collaborate is imperative for this position.


Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct standard molecular biology experiments such as cloning.
  • Conduct standard biochemical techniques such as recombinant protein expression, purification, and characterization.
  • Work proactively to find opportunities for continuous improvement in protocols and procedures to improve data and to drive project results forward.
  • Help maintaining laboratory equipment following applicable guidelines (SOP, GLP, safety).
  • Write protocols, compile SOPs, record, organize and document data.
  • Communicate successfully across teams and present important results to members and management.


Your Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or any other related subject area preferred.


Your Experience, Knowledge, and Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year working in a laboratory environment required.
  • Strong desire to learn new techniques required. 
  • Strong knowledge of basic biological principles required.
  • Broad knowledge of standard laboratory assays and basic lab equipment required.
  • Comfort with a fast-paced setting and sometimes changing priorities required.
  • Experience in molecular biology or biochemistry research preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with good attention to detail required.
