Web Engineer - Consultant
Description:
- WORK UNDER GENERAL SUPERVISION TO REVIEW CURRENT DESIGN OF AGENCY WEBSITE.
- RECOMMEND SPECIFICATIONS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE AGENCY.
- ASSIST IN IMPLEMENTATION OF SPECIFICATIONS.
- WILL REPORT TO THE IT MANAGER.
- POTENTIALLY WILL NEED TO PRESENT PROGRESS TO SMALL MEETING OF INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS.
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
- SKILLED IN WEBSITE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
- EXPERIENCED WITH HTML5
- MUST HAVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS TO COMMUNICATE WITH PROJECT STAFF.
- KNOWLEDGE OF ADA COMPLIANCE
- KNOWLEDGE OF WEB PRIVACY STATEMENTS
- ABILITY TO CREATE MOBILE WEBSITE
- ABILITY TO UTILIZE STYLESHEETS
- AN UNDERSTANDING OF GENERAL CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS (CMS); SERVICES AND FEATURES, SITE DESIGN, AND BEST PRACTICES.

- SELF-MOTIVATED
- MINIMAL MANAGEMENT REQUIRED
- ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS

REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
BACHELOR’S DEGREE OR 3+ YEARS WORK EXPERIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE RELATED FIELD
