About the Role
The VP of Sales, Global Client Services is a senior sales leadership role responsible for driving durable revenue growth across Great Place To Work’s global strategic accounts, strategic partners, and high-value enterprise client relationships. This leader serves as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and senior decision makers, helping organizations connect workplace culture, employee experience, recognition, insights, and advisory solutions to measurable business outcomes.

This role will lead the sales strategy for renewals, expansion, upsell, and strategic account growth within Global Client Services. The VP of Sales will partner closely with Client Relationship Management, Customer Success, Global Concierge, Advisory Services, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Executive Leadership to deliver a unified, high-quality client experience across global accounts and complex partnership models.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, relationship-driven, and commercially disciplined sales leader with experience managing complex enterprise accounts, developing scalable sales operating rhythms, coaching high-performing teams, strengthening executive-level relationships, and creating clear forecasting and performance accountability. This person is highly detailed, collaborative, comfortable operating in a fast-paced and agile environment and deeply aligned to Great Place To Work’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acts as the CEO of the account, maintaining accountability for the commercial relationship, strategic partnership, client experience, executive engagement strategy, risk mitigation plan, and long-term growth strategy for each assigned enterprise client
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to renew, expand, and grow existing global strategic accounts and strategic partners in alignment with Global Client Services priorities and overall business objectives.
  • Lead and strengthen executive-level client relationships that support long-term partnerships, retention, expansion, and a partner-for-life experience.
  • Lead the governance and execution strategy for large-scale, multi-country engagements involving multiple business units, regions, and stakeholder groups.
  • Navigate the operational complexity of global programs, including differing regional requirements, languages, cultures, timelines, and regulatory considerations.
  • Create and maintain executive-ready project governance, communication plans, risk logs, and success metrics for strategic accounts.
  • Identify, assess, and advance existing enterprise customers that meet strategic account criteria, creating clear pathways for movement into the Strategic Partner client base.
  • Build and manage a disciplined revenue operating rhythm, including pipeline review, forecasting, account planning, renewal planning, performance metrics, and course correction against annual goals.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Client Relationship Management, Customer Success, Global Concierge, Advisory Services, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance to align commercial strategy with delivery excellence and client outcomes.
  • Coach, enable, and support sales team members and account owners in strategic account planning, enterprise deal strategy, executive engagement, negotiation, renewal strategy, and expansion conversations.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients by connecting workplace culture initiatives to business outcomes such as retention, engagement, employer brand, leadership effectiveness, and organizational transformation.
  • Translate client business challenges into actionable recommendations that leverage Great Place To Work's research, methodology, insights, and services.
  • Identify opportunities to expand value through consulting, thought leadership, strategic partnerships, executive facilitation, and innovation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with client-facing teams to surface customer insights, feedback, risks, and opportunities, then translate those inputs into actionable sales, retention, and experience improvement plans.
  • Address and help resolve customer escalations with care, urgency, and accountability, ensuring client concerns are understood, owned, and translated into clear next steps.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, sponsorships, media engagements, consulting opportunities, and advisory solutions that can expand market reach and deepen customer value.
  • Conduct and guide needs assessments, including analysis of account potential, customer needs, pricing strategy, culture objectives, and employee experience priorities.
  • Represent Great Place To Work’s model, methodology, product and services suite, insights, and value proposition in senior-level client conversations, strategic business reviews, executive meetings, webinars, and industry events.
  • Lead or participate in high-impact networking opportunities and national speaking engagements, including For All™ Summit events, to build the business and strengthen the Great Place To Work brand.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify sales processes, improve collaboration, reduce friction for internal teams and clients, and strengthen the consistency of the Global Client Services operating model.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive enterprise sales, strategic account management, or client relationship leadership experience, ideally in a complex B2B environment.

  • Demonstrated experience leading sales strategy for large enterprise customers, global accounts, strategic partners, or high-value client portfolios.

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue, renewal, expansion, and forecasting goals in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience building relationships with C-suite executives and senior leaders, with the ability to influence, advise, and navigate complex stakeholder groups.

  • Strong commercial acumen, including pipeline management, account planning, deal strategy, negotiation, pricing, forecasting, and performance accountability.

  • Experience working in or supporting international business, global markets, or multi-country client delivery models.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and demonstrate a high level of customer service, responsiveness, judgment, and professionalism.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create executive-ready communications, presentations, proposals, and client-facing deliverables.

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple complex priorities simultaneously.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and related sales, collaboration, and customer engagement technologies.

  • 20% travel; includes international travel as required

The pay range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
