JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Overview

The VP will serve a dual mandate — driving portfolio management excellence across Keppel’s private data centre funds, while acting as a product specialist and capital formation partner. The role sits at the intersection of portfolio management, investor relations, and product development, requiring a commercially astute individual who can credibly engage both institutional investors and internal investment teams.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Management & Fund Oversight

  • Develop and execute portfolio strategy, business plans, and annual budgets in alignment with the fund's mandate and investment guidelines.
  • Maintain centralized oversight of the private data centre funds, encompassing capital allocation, compliance with investment restrictions, performance monitoring, and adherence to governance frameworks.
  • Actively manage fund liquidity, control fund-level expenses, and implement strategies to optimize investor distributions and risk-adjusted returns.
  • Build, own, and continuously maintain life-of-fund financial models, ensuring integrity of projections, cash flow forecasting, and scenario analysis.
  • Produce rigorous fund-level performance metrics, investor reporting, and returns benchmarking against relevant private real estate, infrastructure, and data centre peer universes.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for existing investors of the Funds, to respond to their queries

Investment & Asset Management Support

  • Participate actively in the investment process — including evaluation of acquisition and divestment opportunities — by providing portfolio-level context, capital allocation perspectives, and investor return considerations.
  • Collaborate with asset management teams to monitor business plan execution across portfolio assets, escalating risks and opportunities as appropriate.
  • Contribute the portfolio and investor lens to investment committee deliberations, ensuring deal-level decisions are evaluated within the context of overall fund construction and mandate constraints.

Product Specialist / Capital Raising

  • Act as a product specialist for the data centre fund strategy in investor meetings
  • Working as part of a team to support end-to-end capital raising activities, including contributing to the development of marketing materials, pitchbooks, DDQs, RFP responses, and fund terms documentation.
  • Provide substantive responses on fund strategy, portfolio construction, performance attribution, and risk management.
  • Partner with structuring teams on the design and launch of new fund products and co-investment vehicles, ensuring alignment with market demand and investor preferences.
  • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with a broad institutional investor base including sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, insurance companies, family offices, and fund-of-funds.

Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership

  • Monitor and synthesize competitive intelligence across private real estate, digital infrastructure, and data centre investment markets, tracking trends in capital flows, fund structures, pricing, and investor sentiment.
  • Produce thematic content to support fundraising narratives, investor communications, and strategic planning.
