Magna IT is seeking experienced front-end engineer and UI/UX developer with 5+ years of relevant work experience to lead the development and evolution of our digital factory solutions. Typescript and React are the current language and framework.
The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent technical and aesthetic skills and a strong UI design sense. Clear, concise, and timely communication is needed in our highly collaborative, small team process. We need your willingness to give and receive constructive criticism, and your energy and enthusiasm to help move the company and product forward. Clear communication, curiosity, creativity, attention to detail and eagerness to learn are essential for success in this role. This role combines software architecting, coding, and UI/UX design.
Your Responsibilities
Design and implement responsive, scalable, reusable, performant, and testable front-end solutions in Typescript + React (and/or Solid)
Contribute clean, reusable, polished code, not one-off solutions
Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and peer-to-peer learning
Test, debug, and perform QA
Design professional, state-of-the-art UIs with close attention to detail
Proactively innovate to improve the code and the user experience
Who we are looking for
5+ years of front-end development and/or UI/UX work experience
4+ years building polished, performant front-end applications and applying best practices in front-end architecture
4+ years using React with a deep understanding of core principles including hooks, state management, and performance optimization
Advanced CSS expertise
4+ years Typescript experience (highly recommended)
SolidJS and/or Svelte
Your preferred qualifications

Skills Required
- 5+ years front-end development and/or UI/UX work experience
- 4+ years building polished, performant front-end applications and applying front-end architecture best practices
