UI/UX Designer

We are a team of researchers and Engineers who love to build disruptive technologies that unlock value for our users. We are growing rapidly adding 1000+ users every 2 weeks. 4 months since our product release, we have seen traction and organic growth in our user base across universities in US (Stanford, UCB) and Europe (ETH Zurich, UCL).

At the same time, we have been building an amazing team in technology and design. Some of our engineers have joined us after holding senior positions at India's leading startups such as Flipkart, Blackbuck and Grofers. Post multiple rounds of funding, our focus has been to hire individuals who can help us in our mission to build a platform that can transform Academia.

You will be expected to apply user-centered design processes to create high quality user experiences, reusable patterns and assets for our flagship product. You will be playing a pivotal role in the UX cycle: research and create visually pleasing interfaces, coordinating their implementation and integration, and more.

We are looking for Visual Designers having strong knowledge of creative design tools, especially Sketch

Job Profile/Description:

• Work closely with interaction designers, engineers and other team members to collaboratively evolve product requirements into compelling and usable visual experiences.
• Create detailed UI concepts and guidelines and/or detailed visual language, GUI assets and guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with Design and Engineering teams.

Job Requirement:

• Must-have Skills: Proficient in use of creative design tools
• Should have hands-on knowledge in visual design for web products and mobile apps.
• Must-have Portfolio: Demonstrated success in delivering visually pleasing designs.
• Must-have excellent attention to detail.
• Must-have Communication and Presentation skills: Ability to communicate and present ideas and details from a Visual Design perspective to internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of color theory and visual hierarchy is desirable.
