UI/UX Designer (Mid/Senior)

SYBO is part of the Miniclip family and known for the widely popular game, Subway Surfers - the most downloaded mobile game in the world, with over four and a half billion downloads. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, we aim to create playful moments that inspire our fans to care.

Some games chase trends. Subway Surfers helped define an entire genre.

Now, we're looking for a UI/UX Designer to help shape what comes next.

This is your chance to leave your mark on one of the biggest mobile games ever made. A game with a massive global audience, instant player feedback, and a team that never settles for "good enough". The challenge? Keeping an iconic game feeling fresh, modern, and innovative for hundreds of millions of players around the world.

Come help evolve the visual experience of Subway Surfers, designing new features, game modes, and player journeys while continuously improving the experience that keeps players coming back. Some days you'll be crafting entirely new interfaces. Other days you'll make a tiny change that unlocks a surprisingly big impact. That's the fun part.

If you enjoy solving creative puzzles, have a knack for details, and seeing your work reach millions of players, then this might just be your gig.

Responsibilities
  • Actively refine and improve existing UI/UX to elevate player engagement and satisfaction, ensuring Subway Surfers remains intuitive, modern, and enjoyable to play.

  • Design and implement intuitive, engaging UI screens, assets, and interactions for new and existing features.

  • Create UX wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to support feature development and player experiences.

  • Help shape the visual direction of the game's interface, evolving and modernizing the experience, while staying true to the Subway Surfers brand.

  • Ensure a consistent visual style, tone, and user experience across all UI elements.

  • Create and maintain UI documentation, design systems, and style guides to support consistency and scalability.

  • Optimize UI implementations to ensure smooth performance across a wide range of mobile devices.
