Treasury Senior Manager

About the Role

As Treasury Senior Manager, you will lead the organization's treasury function, ensuring effective cash flow, liquidity, and funding management. You will combine leadership with hands-on execution, driving operational excellence, strong governance, and treasury transformation while supporting the organization's financial objectives.

Job Description 

  • Lead and develop the Treasury team, overseeing daily cash positions across all entities, accounts, and banking partners.
  • Own the organization's cash flow forecasting framework, across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons, ensuring accuracy and strategic visibility for senior management.
  • Determine the organization's capital needs and financing strategy, including funding structure and sources.
  • Design, implement, and govern liquidity management policies and procedures, and guide subsidiaries on their application.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with banks, negotiating financial products, facilities, and terms.
  • Oversee and validate cash movements, settlements, and treasury operations across the organization, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation.
  • Design and drive the roll-out of new systems, tools, and processes to modernize and scale Treasury Operations, with a focus on automation.
  • Establish and maintain treasury controls, policies, and documentation to ensure strong governance and compliance.
  • Control, approve, and oversee all centrally executed payments, and ensure timely, accurate reporting to internal departments and internal/external auditors.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and management reporting for cash monitoring and strategic decision-making.
  • Actively participate in the budget process and annual audits at a strategic level.
  • Monitor market, regulatory, and technology developments in treasury and payment services to keep the organization ahead of the curve.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree from a Greek or foreign University or College in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree in Economics or Finance is preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Corporate Treasury, including at least 2 years in a role with team management responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on with day-to-day treasury operations.
  • Experience in a large-scale organization or multinational environment will be an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
  • Knowledge of Treasury Management systems (preferably SAP Treasury) and reporting tools such as Power BI will be an asset.
  • Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and verbal.
