Job Summary: The Treasury Management Sales Officer is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding the Bank's Treasury Management portfolio by identifying opportunities to provide cash management solutions to commercial, municipal, nonprofit, and business customers. This position serves as the primary point of contact for Treasury Management sales activities, consults with customers to identify operational efficiencies, and partners with Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, and Operations to deliver exceptional service and increase non-interest income.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop new Treasury Management business relationships through referrals, prospecting, and calling efforts.
  • Partner with Commercial Lenders and Business Bankers to identify treasury opportunities.
  • Conduct business needs assessments and recommend treasury management solutions.
  • Prepare and present Treasury Management proposals.
  • Meet established sales, revenue, and product penetration goals.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary Treasury Management contact for business customers.
  • Conduct customer calls and annual Treasury Management relationship reviews.
  • Maintain ongoing communication regarding new products and services.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complex service issues.
  • Educate customers on fraud prevention and payment security.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with Treasury Management Administrator to coordinate customer implementations.
  • Assist in product pricing and profitability analysis.
  • Coordinate implementation timelines.
  • Communicate customer expectations internally.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of banking experience.
  • Treasury Management or Commercial Banking experience preferred.
  • Strong sales and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ACH, wires, business online banking, and cash management products.
  • Ability to travel within the Bank's market area.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:

  • Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
  • Frequent lifting (up to 10 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).
  • Driving to client locations and other sites as needed.

  • Normal office environment.
