The Tosca Expert will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's QA vision. They will architect and develop robust automation frameworks, ensuring high coverage across web, mobile, API, and SAP systems. This role involves integrating test execution into CI/CD pipelines, managing test data, and providing mentorship to junior QA engineers. The expert will also execute specialized testing scenarios, including API testing and complex SAP automation.
Responsibilities- Architect and design scalable, modular Tosca automation frameworks.
- Build and maintain test cases for enterprise and web applications using Tosca's TBox and engines.
- Execute end-to-end API testing and mobile testing, as well as complex SAP automation scenarios.
- Integrate test execution into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Git.
- Perform test data management, log defects, and ensure traceability using Jira or qTest.
- Define automation standards and governance models, providing technical guidance to the QA team.
- Stay updated with the latest Tricentis Tosca features and best practices, ensuring efficient and effective testing strategies.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand system requirements and design appropriate test scenarios.
- Mentor and train junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- 5 to 10+ years of overall QA experience, with 3 to 5+ years of dedicated Tricentis Tosca experience.
- Tricentis Tosca Certifications (AS1, AS2, AE1, or Tosca Certified Architect) are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in VB Script/JavaScript and SQL, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise ecosystems (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle) is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Experience with test data management and defect tracking tools (Jira, qTest, etc.) is advantageous.
- A proactive and innovative mindset, constantly seeking to improve testing processes and frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
