Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Test Specialist to join our growing team in one of the biggest European organizations.
Tasks:
- Designs and documents test cases for software systems.
- Executes test
- Executes exploratory test sessions
- Reports Test results and found defects
- Interprets test results, reports on test progress and issues
- Cooperates with analysis, architects, software development and service desk teams
- Reviews project documentation
- Takes test lead role in smaller projects
Knowledge and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of IT-relevant professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years of project experience relevant to the profile or at a similar position
- Presents excellent command of English, at least at B2 level
- Required certificates:
- At least 1 certification among:
- ISTQB Advanced
- or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)
- or 3 years of experience in test management above required minimum experience at a similar position
- At least 1 certification among:
- Hands on experience in testing complex systems up to the amount of years per profile requested at the "minimum experience at similar position"
- Well versed and practical knowledge of software testing tools
- Expert in designing tests
- Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly
- Presents excellent communication and documentation skills
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle.
Specific requirements
- Proven functional, regression and acceptance testing of enterprise web applications built on SharePoint / SPFx / React with .NET Web APIs, including API testing (e.g. Postman) and basic performance testing (e.g. JMeter)
- Hands-on management of test plans, test suites, test cases and defects in Azure DevOps Test Plans / Boards, with traceability from requirements and user stories to test results and to the commits/pull requests fixing the defects
- Experience in taking over a test asset base from a third-party contractor (test-case inventory, regression suites, environments) and in verifying a Definition of Done that includes security-scan and penetration-test findings
- Ability to work with business owners on acceptance criteria and UAT organisation; availability for a knowledge-transfer period.

- Excellent English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- At least one ISTQB Advanced certification or internationally recognized equivalent, unless substituted by three years of additional test management experience

- Practical knowledge of software testing tools
- Expertise in test design

- Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman
