A software company developing smart IoT products is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to lead and execute testing activities across a multidisciplinary product line. The role is responsible for ensuring product quality and readiness for release through comprehensive manual and automated testing of integrated hardware and software solutions.
The position is based in Nof HaGalil, Northern Israel, with one work-from-home day per week.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test suites covering all product disciplines, including hardware, mechanics, embedded systems, frontend, backend, and sensor technologies.
- Lead and execute QA processes, continuously improving testing methodologies, standards, and procedures.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive testing documentation, including test plans, test results, test coverage reports, and release notes.
- Collaborate closely with Product Development teams to ensure consistent project execution and product quality.
- Work with the Product team to understand product requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and coverage.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve testing issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- 5+ years of experience as a QA or Test Engineer working with multidisciplinary products in cloud-based software environments.
- Hands-on experience with both manual and automated, script-based testing for products that combine hardware and software.
- Proven experience delivering and executing high-quality hardware and software testing solutions in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
