Nokia of America Corporation, Test Engineer, 5G System (Multiple Positions), Bellevue, WA

SALARY RANGE: $138,050 - $190,828 per year

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)

Responsibilities

Nokia of America Corporation, Test Engineer, 5G System (Multiple Positions), Bellevue, WA. Perform software integration, verification and benchmark testing activities of 4G/5G Frequency-division duplexing (FDD) / Time-division duplexing (TDD) Radio access features. Assist with executing software tests to identify software problems and their causes. Help develop software testing methods, scripts, and applications to meet testing and reporting needs. Document and report defects during testing and support R&D with solving defects. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation and conduct analysis for 4G/5G radio performance statistics. Prepare performance reports from testing data and participate in software design reviews. Conduct systems testing, including planning, execution and reporting of selected software test projects. Perform analysis of the defects discovered during software testing. Using 5G software test tools for field test of network systems and radio planning activities. #LI-DNI

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's progressive related work experience. Or a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have at least 3 years of experience with the following: Testing and verification of 4G/5G Frequency-division duplexing (FDD) / Time-division duplexing (TDD) Radio access features; 3GPP standards for 4G and 5G technologies; RAN system design and logging; Radio product architecture end-to-end network overview and interfaces; Testing tools: QXDM, wireshark, and iperf; and Working in Radio Frequency (RF) laboratory environment.

Domestic travel required up to 5%.
