Test Automation Engineer (Android)

We're on the lookout for a Test Automation Engineer with Android automation experience to join our team working on a social news aggregation platform.

Responsibilities:

• Automate and maintain test suites for different features on Android mobile app. Increase automation coverage and fix tests to maintain pass rate.

• Monitor daily and weekly test execution reports. Raise issues when they’re found.

• Support weekly release validations.

• Manual testing for not automated scenarios.

• Work closely with the product/development team to analyze upcoming features or changes in existing ones. Make test plans and document test cases in a Test Management Tool. Support them in specific testing requests.

• Maintain and enhance internal test framework built from native mobile test framework (UIAutomator/Espresso).

Mandatory requirements:

• Knowledge of mobile testing general concepts.

• Programming language: Kotlin.

• Test framework: UIAutomator, Espresso.

• IDE: Android Studio.

• Cloud testing: BrowserStack.

• Agile methodologies (SCRUM).

• Test Case Management tools.

• CI/CD: Bitrise.

• GIT.

• Jira.

• Advanced-Intermediate English, oral & written (B2+)

Optional requirements:

• Scripting skills.
