Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a passionate technical marketing manager in our San Jose office to help AI infrastructure marketing and AI/GPU system product marketing to lead AI revolution across various industries. Supermicro is widely recognized as a leader in high-performance and high-efficiency server technologies to provide highly customized and innovative solutions tailored to specific AI workloads. This candidate will work to bring Supermicro's extensive line of AI workload optimized servers, rack and cluster-level total solutions that are designed to be able to scale to tens of thousands of GPU for large AI models with rapidly evolving latest software stacks. The role will span the spectrum of marketing activities from creating technical marketing programs such as our JumpStart remote access program, developer program, to creating effective marketing assets for new product launches and full-spectrum AI marketing campaign to drive lead-generation and sales activation. The role requires working closely with key internal peers (product management, sales, technical experts and customers) to create strong marketing programs and contents. Additional responsibilities include owning sales presentations, white papers, press releases, brochures and datasheets. The ideal candidate must understand the server hardware market, GPUs/accelerators, and core technologies that accelerate today's large scale AI model training and inference including software frameworks and libraries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Job includes but no limited to:

- Develop overall expertise on Supermicro's market leading data center AI/GPU server product families.

- Lead definition and evolution of our remote server access infrastructure working with technical experts for customers, sales, and channel partners.

-Produce marketing and technical documentation to drive customer and sales understanding of data center solutions from individual servers to rack/cluster level solutions.

-Deliver technical contents and resources that conveys value and ease of adoption for enterprise verticals and horizontal applications of AI, and Generative AI/LLMs in particular. Examples include, how-to content, getting started guide, and etc.

- Create sales tools and training materials that accurately captures technical features translated into business values that resonate with targeted enterprise profiles by closely collaborate with product management, architecture, solution, FAE, sales, and marketing teams.

- Work with technology partners such as NVIDIA to align initiatives, activities, budgets and etc., to drive synergy

- Lead competitive intelligence efforts to maintain a deep understanding of AI technologies/trends, the products and marketplace, and how Supermicro's portfolio compares to competition along key buying criteria.

- Coordinate internal benchmarking and external assessments.

This position requires a strong leader that is self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to initiate and complete projects on time working with various teams within the US and abroad.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of Technical Marketing, Product Marketing, or Product Management experience in a IT infrastructure technology preferred (accelerators/GPUs, HPC, cloud, virtualization/containerization, and etc.).

- Experience with running Generative AI/LLMs on Linux and enterprise operating systems, APIs, and web applications development/product management.

- Strong technical background, technical degree preferred, e.g., BSEE, Physics, BSCS from a 4 year college or university

- Excellent communications (written and verbal) and customer interfacing skills

Salary Range

$106,000- $135,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
