Job Title: Technical Manager

Job Overview:
UrbanSoft SA seeks a highly skilled and motivated Technical Manager to lead our IT consulting team. This role involves overseeing project delivery, managing a team of experienced professionals, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will work on cutting-edge technologies such as Qlik Replicate, Snowflake, Denodo, and Confluent Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership capabilities, and experience in managing complex IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff, ensuring the successful delivery of IT consulting services.
• Work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements and translate them into well- architected solutions.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and management of data platforms, cloud solutions, and integration projects.
• Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to provide technical insights and support during pre-sales activities.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by maintaining strong client relationships and addressing technical concerns.
• Provide thought leadership and stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, including cloud computing, big data, and data integration platforms.
• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, operational efficiency, and team performance.
• Develop and manage project plans, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers where necessary.
• Oversee troubleshooting efforts for technical issues and ensure they are resolved efficiently

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in technical leadership or managerial roles within the IT consulting or data integration space.
• Strong technical knowledge of Qlik Replicate, Snowflake, Denodo, Confluent Cloud, and other data platforms.
• Proven experience in managing teams and delivering IT solutions, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-
• technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is a plus.
• Certifications in cloud platforms and data technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Benefits:
• or data virtualization tools) are highly advantageous. Certifications in related technologies within the cloud, data platforms, or data services space, even if different from those we use, will also be considered a vital asset.
